Mansell is a leading UK construction services company, with excellent market positions in social housing, refurbishment, fit-out and other disciplines. Its business mix in terms of geography, sector and project size is highly complementary to Balfour Beatty Construction.

Through a strategic analysis of the UK market, Premier identified a handful of acquirers with a strategic fit in terms of complementary services and geographic fit, and cultural compatibility, resulting in an offer from Balfour Beatty which was 40% higher than an MBO offer.
