Insight NDT is the only independent high energy radiography testing facility using Betatrons in the UK.
The Company’s clients are primarily manufacturers of specialised castings and forgings but Insight also tests components for the medical, rail and general industrial sectors.
Insight operates two laboratories in Rotherham and Sheffield, the centre of the UKs specialised manufacturing industry, where it has invested heavily in radiography equipment and laboratories, including four radiography enclosures in each laboratory.
Premier’s Involvement
Premier marketed the business to a select number of known and compatible buyers interested in the sector, generating a selection of offers from a first stage bid process.
Having guided the vendors on the options available to them, Premier assisted with bidder selection and went on to provide strategic and financial guidance throughout the sale and legal negotiation process, right up to deal completion.
